The Grand Cru International Wine Collection highlights the winemaking techniques and features of selected countries from around the world. Drawn from recognized winemaking regions, you will find exquisite easy-to-drink wines that are expressively bold in their youth, yet graceful with a few months of aging. Makes 23 litres (or thirty 750 ml) bottles of wine; ready in 5 weeks.

 White wine  California Chardonnay
The wine displays captivating flavours of green apple and tropical fruit enhanced by a floral upfront bouquet. Full bodied and straw in colour, this wine develops with age to reveal layers of fruit and integrated oak.

White wine  California White Zinfandel
This easy drinking blush wine offers fresh floral notes on the nose and palate. It is medium bodied with an attractive display of citrus flavours and a soft, off dry finish.

White wine  German Gewürztraminer
This off-dry wine has bold tropical fruits on the palate and a lovely smooth finish. Our proprietary Süss Reserve Pack, along with elderflowers creates a softly structured, floral wine with balanced crisp acidity.

White wine  German Piesporter
Off dry and extremely aromatic, this easy drinking German classic is packed with a nose of honey and fresh roses. The palate is soft and fruity, offering medium acidic notes with traces of peaches and tropical fruit.

White wine  Ontario Sauvignon Blanc
Full bodied and very expressive, this wine presents bold herbal tones and fresh citrus flavours. Straw in colour with a refreshing grassy nose, it produces a long and fruity finish.

White wine  South African Chenin Blanc
Called “Steen” when grown in South Africa, this graceful wine is light-bodied with a pale straw colour. The fruity scented nose has hints of green apple and lemon with a subtle floral bouquet rounding out the nose. On the palate the wine is delightfully refreshing.

Red wine  Australian Cabernet Sauvignon
This full bodied wine bears the signature nose of black currants, rich chocolate and oak. Hints of coffee laced with vanilla notes are layered with cherries and plummy flavours in this well-built wine.

Red wine  B.C. Pinot Noir
Fine aromas of black cherries and farm fresh strawberries treat the nose in this ruby coloured wine. Silky tannins grace the palate, while subtle notes of black pepper and spice round out the experience.

Red wine  California Shiraz
Shiraz boldly exhibits flavours of raspberries and peppery spice, blended in harmony to create an elegant, remarkably smooth wine. Full bodied in character, our Shiraz delivers soft, balanced tannins and generous oak on the finish.

Red wine  California Syrah
Although it is a relative newcomer to the California vineyards, this remarkably smooth wine has gained quick popularity. Raspberries and peppery spice blend in harmony to create an elegant flavour. Full-bodied in character, the Shiraz GenuWine Winery Grape Skins and American and French oak blend to deliver soft, balanced tannins and a lingering, smooth finish.

Red wine  Chilean Malbec
With cool temperatures and plenty of sunshine, Chile has ideal growing conditions for this full-bodied wine. Complimented by warm spice notes, Malbec boasts aromas and flavours of ripe blackberry and blackcurrant. The addition of our Merlot Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins creates a chewy, deep, rustic red wine with intense cherry flavours and blended oak undertones.

Red wine  Italian Barolo
This Italian classic is intensely flavourful, rich and full bodied. Luxurious flavours of dark plums and chocolate greet the nose, while the palate echoes with streaks of blackberries, toasted oak and spices.

Red wine  Italian Brunello
One of Italy’s most popular exports, this powerful classic is full and expressive on the palate with lively cherry fruit and a brisk acidity, supported by ample smooth tannins. Our Sangiovese GenuWine Winery Dried Grape Skins and oak shavings provide a deep and lingering finish to this garnet wine.

Red wine  Italian Primitivo
Full bodied in nature, it opens up with a luscious bouquet of ripe black cherry and delicate spices underlaid with a streak of medium toasted oak. The palate is blessed with well rounded smooth tannins, berry fruit and a complex, long fi nish. Suitable to be paired with hearty pasta dishes and tomato based sauces or strong Italian cheeses.

Red wine  Italian Sangiovese
Elegant and full bodied, this wine is characterized by notes of succulent blackberries and chocolate. Tannic and intense earthy tones are followed by hints of leather and rich oak in this ruby red wine.

Red wine  South African Pinotage
A grape native to South Africa, Pinotage is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault. Enhanced with Pinotage GenuWine Winery Dried Grape Skins, this Pinotage has lots of dark fruit and serious tannins with subtle dark chocolate and spice undertones

Red wine  Washington Merlot
Deep intense flavours of cassis and chocolate are trademark characteristics of this wine. Dark and rich with complex notes of blackberries. Velvety tannins enhance the mouthfeel and stature of this wine.
