A New Standard in Wine Excellence! Each of the 11 wines harvested for the En Primeur collection has been chosen for their distinct regional characteristics and offer discerning wine makers a world of selection.

En Primeur Wine Series

Our revolutionary proprietary process of gently drying crushed whole varietal grape skins, preserves fresh vineyard flavour to add delightful deep hues, lush body, a subtle bouquet or a lingering finish to our select red wines.

This patented process ensures the Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins retain their original colour, and include their nutritional, natural goodness of both the grape skin and solids to vint an ultra premium red wine with intense flavour, an enhanced bouquet and bold character, consistently. Each 250g package of Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins is the equivalent to 4.5Kg of whole varietal grapes resulting in an authentic and satisfying wine.

En Primeur Reds are ready in 8 weeks, but require approximately 9 months to mature, with longer aging potential of 2 years under ideal conditions.

En Primeur Whites require 5 to 7 months to mature. Imagine deep floral tones, rich aromas of honey and tropical fruits, bold citrus notes are some of the distinguished characteristics of the En Primeur whites.


White wine  Clare Valley Riesling Gewurztraminer
Clare Valley's cool nights, warm days and low rainfall provide near perfect grape growing conditions. This blend provides the best of both Australian varietals with apples, spice and a hint of minerals enticing the nose. Slightly off dry with perfectly balanced acidity, while flavours of citrus, floral and honey linger gracefully on the palate.

White wine Golden Heights Australian Chardonnay
Our Australian Chardonnay is fermented on a combination of heavy toasted Hungarian oak shavings and lightly toasted American oak chips, this supple, elegant wine boasts rich aromas of honey and tropical fruits while apples, melon and toasted oak notes tantalise the palate.

White wine  Martinborough Pinot Grigio
Martinborough's long summers and low rainfall produce Pinot Grigio grapes bursting with flavour. Deeply aromatic with ripe pear, lychee and honey on the nose, this wine lures you to take a sip. Beautifully balanced flavours of ripe pear and stone fruit tantalize the palate and lend to an enduring finish.

White wine Rheingau German Riesling
Our Riesling with a Suss Reserve pack finishes a touch off-dry which heightens a fruit packed nose revealing a palate of pineapples, peaches and honeydew melons. Straw coloured, this medium full-bodied white wine is balanced by a mild streak of acidity leaving a lasting impression of tropical fruits and floral tones.

White wine Waihopai Valley Marlborough New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Waihopai Valley Marlborough is the Sauvignon Blanc capital of the world. Sourced from this prestigious viticultural region, comes this popular full bodied white wine of intricate complexity. It displays tantalizing aromas of tropical fruits and honey against a backdrop of bold citrus notes and a touch of minerality.

Red wine  Amarone della Valpolicella Classico
Fermented on Sangiovese Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins and toasted French oak chips, this is an assertively full-bodied wine with a delectable nose of black cherries, dark chocolate and well balanced oak. It offers ripe dark fruit flavours cradled by firm tannins culminating in an almost endless finish.

Red wine  Dashwood New Zealand Pinot Noir
Elevated aromas of plump red cherries, bitter chocolate and spice define the intense varietal character of this full-bodied wine. Fermented on Hungarian oak cubes and winery grade yeast, it is ruby red in colour, the palate is rich and oaky supported by blackberries and herb flavours layered over silky, integrated tannins.

Red wine  Delu Ranch Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon
This richly built wine is fermented on Cabernet Merlot Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins and heavy toasted American oak chips and has intricate layers of luscious black currants and cherries followed by black pepper laced with toasted oak.

Red wine  Mapocho Chilean Carmenere
Our Chilean Carmenère, fermented on Merlot Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins offers liberal flavours of fresh blackberries, plums and violet notes. Full-bodied, this exquisite wine treats the palate to the richness of French toasted oak with smooth silky tannins and succulent dark fruits. An excellent balance between freshness, fruit and structure gives an ample and impressively persistent finish.

Red wine  Mundulla Australian Shiraz
This full-bodied wine features Shiraz Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins and untoasted American oak shavings. Warm black fruit entice the nose, while concentrated flavours of red fruit and chocolate round out the experience.

Red wine Talagante Chilean Merlot
This full-bodied wine is fermented on Cabernet Merlot Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins and heavy toasted French oak shavings. It offers elevated succulent juicy berry flavours accentuated by delicate aroma notes of coffee and vanilla.
